We are based in Lehi, Utah, and many of our families live far enough away that driving or flying in isn't practical. If that's you, a lap nanny can bring your Cavalier puppy to you.
A lap nanny is a courier who flies with your puppy. Your puppy rides in the cabin as carry-on, in a soft-sided carrier under the seat, with a person looking after them for the whole trip — rather than travelling alone in the cargo hold. For most families it is the least stressful way to get a young puppy across the country.
How it works
- Reserve your puppy. Once your puppy is reserved and we've agreed on a go-home date, tell us you'd like to use the lap nanny.
- We introduce you to our nanny. We have a lap nanny we know and recommend, and we'll pass along their contact information.
- You and the nanny pick the flight. You work with them directly to choose a flight that gets your puppy to you on a date that suits you both.
- Your puppy flies in the cabin. The nanny collects your puppy and stays with them from takeoff to landing.
- You meet your puppy at your airport. The nanny hands your Cavalier to you in the arrivals area.

Other ways to bring your puppy home
A lap nanny is one of three options. You are always welcome to collect your puppy in person:
- Fly in and meet us. Fly into Salt Lake City International Airport or the Provo Utah Airport and we will meet you there. You are welcome to pay in person, in cash, when you collect your puppy — many families like knowing they have met us and seen their puppy before any money changes hands.
- Meet partway. We are happy to meet at a public location that is safe and convenient for both of us.
